C-section

Well it looks like things will not go to plan, but that is ok cause God knew all along. Join us and pray as we embark on this next leg of the journey.

Thanks

Gus, Cami and soon to be here AJ.

Contractions 1-2

They are about 1 to 2 minutes apart. I am writing this as fast as I can while she is using the restroom. Just wanted to give a quick update. It is 1:20 and right now we are just waiting for the epidural. He is in an emergency cesection (not sure how to spell that) so when he is done with that he will be up here. So pray that happens soon. Cami has been doing a great job and it has been a great pleasure having our families here.

Praise God

More pictures are uploaded.

The funny one is of everyone sitting in the room on three different computers at the same time. All Macs I might add! :)

Not far away now

So I am writing this from the hospital with Cami, Mary Lou, and my Mom and Dad. We got here around 7:15 am and it is not 9:48am. Cami has just started having a few contractions and things seem to be progressing as they should. Thank you for all your prayers as we continue on this exciting journey.

Here are some pictures from today. Hope you enjoy them.

Daddy?

So we are still waiting for baby AJ to make his grand arrival into our lives. This last week Cami has had several contractions, but nothing consistent. Actually she did not even know she was having contractions until she went in for a stress test. While there she had her first one and there was a little scare cause AJ's heart rate went down. It ended up not being so scary, they kept her at the hospital for 2 more hours just to see how he would react through other contractions and he did fine. She had 10 more in the two hours that she was there with no ill effects to him. She had to go in for the same thing the next day, was only there for 30 minutes or so and all was fine.

The induction is schedule for Friday February 8th. We and especially Cami are hoping that AJ will arrive before that time, on his own without medical help. But even if that is not the case we know that we are a mere 3 days away from seeing out little guy. We are so excited and eager to see where this journey will take us.

The room is ready, the bags are packed, the car seat is in the car, so come on little buddy, don't you want to me your mom and dad and the rest of your family? See ya soon.

One Week and Counting

There is less than one week till the due date of AJ. We are getting anxious as the days go by. The apartment seems to be all ready for him, not sure if Mom and Dad are, but can you really ever say you are. Anyways, somethings to pray for. There has been no changes or signs of progress for Cami so we had to schedule the induction. This does not mean that we will have to have it. There are still 12 more days before that begins. That is a lot of time, hours, minutes, seconds and one of which can be the moment where it will all start. We are praying that things will get going on there own. Cami does not want to have to induce and from some of the storied I have heard I can understand her reservations. So start your count down and pray, pray, pray...

Can't Wait

I find myself so eager to hold my son. The other day I just wanted him out of there and in my arms, I can't really explain it but I am sure those of you who are parents know what I am talking about.

This week we had the hospital tour and next week we have one of our classes. Time is really flying, before we know it Thanksgiving will be here and then Christmas and then AJ. I say that as if it is going to be a holiday like the preceding and for Cami and I it will be. It will be a huge day to celebrate and welcome what God has given us to our ever growing family. Exciting times for sure!
